Tammy-Jo led many educational events.  She has taught private lessons, and has given workshops on hymn playing, organ demonstrations to children and adults, including "Pedals, Pipes and Pizza", presentations on church music, as well as coaching early music ensembles, and giving handbell workshops.

She has also been an adjudicator for pipe organ, piano and handbells.  She has served as an examiner for the Western Board of Music (now Conservatory Canada) and the Royal Canadian College of Organists exams.  She has also been an adjudicator for many music festivals and composition competitions in the province of Alberta.
